Recovery Doesn’t Stop When You Leave the Hospital
Why Speech & Cognitive Therapy Matters
Aphasia, dysarthria, and cognitive changes — affecting memory, attention, and problem-solving — are common after stroke. They can be frustrating, isolating, and deeply personal. And yet, the science is clear: consistent, personalized, structured practice significantly improves outcomes. The challenge is access.
Most survivors face a therapy gap after hospital discharge. Outpatient slots are limited. Waitlists are long. Travel is hard. And the critical window for recovery keeps moving.
nyra therapy was built to close that gap — bringing evidence-based, therapist-designed rehabilitation directly to survivors, wherever they are.

You’re Not Alone in Stroke Recovery
nyra therapy (developed by nyra health) is designed for adults recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury, or other neurological conditions who experience challenges with speech, language, or cognitive abilities such as memory, attention, or concentration. It is also suitable for individuals managing symptoms of dementia or Parkinson’s disease.
While nyra therapy is designed for stroke survivors and individuals with neurological conditions, caregivers play a vital role in supporting practice. We encourage caregivers to explore the app alongside their loved ones.
No experience is required. nyra therapy is specifically designed to be easy to use on any iOS (iOS Version 15 +) or Android (Android Version 6 +) smartphone or tablet, without any prior digital experience. The interface is straightforward, and your personalized plan guides you step by step.
No. nyra therapy is a supplement to — not a replacement for — professional therapy. It helps you practice more consistently between sessions, and track your progress. If you are working with a speech-language pathologist, we encourage you to use nyra therapy alongside your existing care plan.
After your free month, you will be downgraded to a basic free subscription plan and can continue with a nyra therapy paid subscription. You are never charged automatically during your free month — any continuation is your choice.
No. nyra therapy is currently only available in English.
